Grand Challenges Canada Funds 2 CAMTech Uganda Projects

2 projects that successfully submitted to Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) for acceleration support have been funded. This funding will last a period of 18 months. We hope to see a significant transition  by the end of this funding. PRISMS Deploys In 5 Health Facilities In South Western Uganda.

PRISMS’ goal is to empower all frontline health workers like midwives, nurses, birth attendants etc in Uganda to effectively manage the sick newborns. U-SOAP; An Air Quality Monitoring Station Set Up

CAMTech Uganda in partnership with the Uganda Sources for Outdoor Pollution (U-SOAP) have established an air quality monitoring station in Mbarara. It’s the first of its kind in Mbarara District. The goal of this station  will be to measure the burden of outdoor air pollution in Mbarara, Uganda.
