U-SOAP; An Air Quality Monitoring Station Set UpMukama Martin
CAMTech Uganda in partnership with the Uganda Sources for Outdoor Pollution (U-SOAP) have established an air quality monitoring station in Mbarara. It’s the first of its kind in Mbarara District.
The goal of this station will be to measure the burden of outdoor air pollution in Mbarara, Uganda. The station will measure the concentration of fine particulate matter, the component of air pollution that has the greatest impact on health, using pumps that draw air through filters.
We are excited to see the data we generate from this station.
